MILPITAS, CA, September 07, 2016 — ProphetStor Data Services, Inc., the leader in software-defined storage (SDS), today announced that its cloud-based business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR), DR Prophet® solution has been implemented by IDC Frontier Inc., one of the largest data center service providers who runs 9 data centers in 3 different locations in Japan. IDC Frontier is now ready to introduce cloud-based disaster-recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS) to its customers through its “Eco-Alliance” partner program.
“Eco-Alliance” is a program which IDC Frontier works together with its channel partners offering advanced IT and data services to its customers in a cloud-based environment. DRaaS is a technology built specifically for BC/DR customers demand and brings to push forward BC/DR solution leveraging cloud infrastructure to offer local and remote disaster recovery services. This solution will be highly flexible and scalable to rapidly and accurately restore a customer’s business data and critical application systems while enabling business continuity.
