LiWen Chen
Chief Scientist
LiWen Chen is the Chief Scientist at ProphetStor, specializing in artificial intelligence, distributed systems, and large-scale computing. He is an expert in AI and large language model training, with deep knowledge of how AI training and inference operate across modern cloud and software platforms.
Before joining ProphetStor, Dr. Chen held senior leadership roles across multiple technology companies. He served as CEO of MetaEdge Corporation and later as President of ChungHwa Telecom Global, Inc., expanding the company’s international presence in Silicon Valley. He also served as VP of PrimeVault Service at FalconStor and founded companies including World Venture and Chunghwa Cloud Co. Ltd., advancing enterprise cloud and software innovations.
Dr. Chen holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from UCLA and a B.S. in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University.
